Welcome to Paine Mountain CrossFit at Norwich! We hope you are as excited as we are to get started!

By joining, you have taken the first step to getting into the best shape of your life. CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program were the methodology derives from using constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity. It is designed for scalability, making it the perfect program for any individual, regardless of their experience. CrossFit will train you to be stronger and faster both mentally and physically.

Our goal is to teach you the basic fundamental movements of CrossFit and to help you obtain the knowledge and skills needed to be successful not only at CrossFit but also in your personal health and fitness goals.

To get started with CrossFit, all participants must first attend a 2 hour “On Ramp” session. This two hour session will teach you the basic skills and movements associated with CrossFit. You will be instructed by one of our CrossFit trainers who will safely expose you to the movements in small group settings. These small group settings allow for each movement to be taught more in depth than in a normal group or WOD session, this also allows for more instructional one on one time with the trainer.

Sample On Ramp Class includes:

Squat series (air squat, back squat, front squat, overhead squat)

Deadlifts/Press and Push Press

Clean series (Clean, power clean, squat clean, hang clean)
